It began as two companies: GBgenerator and Total Training Support, founded by Bill Cottrill in the early 2000s. With an extensive background in aviation maintennace and a passion for what we are do, QBgenerator was created to help aircraft maintenance training organisations engage their students and streamline the entire examination process.
QBgenerator was founded on the belief that software and knowledge should go hand-in-hand. And founded on teh principal of building strong partnerships with training organizations and to create tailored content that educates and inspires the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers. Based at the Cranfield Innovation Centre, Cranfield University Technology Park in the UK, which is located in the heart of the UK aiation network, with easy access to all London airports, especially Luton and Stanstead. We are supplying products and services in all parts of the World to raise the quality and of your training organisation.
How it started
Bill Cottrill
Founder
It is now 35 years since Bill graduated from an aircraft manufacturing apprenticeship in the UK. He has experience in the maintenance of many types of aircraft and has served time in the hangars of airline companies from Luton to Jakarta. And with a degree in aircraft engineering and a major postgraduate teaching qualification, Bill has been an educator, a technical author, and a classroom trainer for 25 years, delivering services and consultancy to training organizations, classrooms and practical workshops throughout the UK, Europe and worldwide.
As founder and director of Total Training Support, since the year 2000, developing course-ware and assessment tools have been Bill's pleasure and passion. This has involved working with many inspiring training organizations facilitating their growth, and even that of whole maintenance industries, in countries throughout the world.
